Applying for Grants
Here we will post information on applying for grants which may be applicable to arts and cultural groups on the Central Coast. Most of it will come from a variety of different sources and we acknowledge those groups and organisations who compile the information.

Over the next month we will be re-publishing funding program information to a new system which will enable you to search for funding by categories, keyword, NSW Government agencies and closing dates.

FUNDING PROGRAMS

* NSW Ministry for the Arts Grants Program
The Ministry supports excellence and innovation in the arts with funds totalling more than $200 million a year. --Performing Arts Touring

* Australia Council for the Arts Grants
The Australia Council for the Arts offers support and resources for the arts in Australia through its grants program. Some Grants in the following categories close at different times. * Myer Foundation Grants
The Myer Foundation manages the Sidney Myer Fund which provides funding for programs responding to community needs and for the development of new ideas. --Arts and Humanities Grants

* Contemporary Music Touring Program Grants The Contemporary Music Touring Program will continue to support touring opportunities for Australian musicians, and increase audience access to live Australian contemporary music, particularly in rural and regional Australia http://www.communitybuilders.nsw.gov.au/finding_funds/funding/cmtp.html

* Festivals Australia Grants

CONFERENCES, TRAINING, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

* Community music workshop at Accessible Arts, Sydney Community music is a model of practice that uses music, CCD techniques and a lot of fun to get people involved in creating and performing their own professional pieces of music.

* Art in the Park -
