'Femme Fatale' Exhibition by Russell Austin
An exhibition of recent work by Russell Austin:
A series of work including oil paintings and pen & ink wash drawings.
Opening Sat 9th August @ 4.30pm All Welcome

Russell attempts to express his admiration for the female form & emotion using the classic personifications of the Femme Fatale as a subject.
Observations of emotional play, subtle gesture, sensual essence, liberating presence, the allure & hypnotic gaze are some aspects depicted in his artwork all conveying his celebration of the beauty of women.
With influences such as Norman Lindsay, Lori Earley & Lord Leighton, Austin renders his oil paintings with sensuality, depth & subtle rhythm using lush colour & glazing.
