Annual General Meetings
So many community groups struggle with this AGM thing every year. This article attempts to make it a bit easier............

Organising you Annual General Meeting need not be such a chore. Here are a few hints:

1. Go to Dept of fair trading for a look at the model rules for incorporated organisations http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/pdfs/corporate/publications/ft119.pdf and have a look at the section on AGM's.

2. Check out the links below for a set of complying forms to run your AGM, just add your own organisation details and logo if you want. There should be links to Membership Application, Nomination for Position, Agenda, Official Notice, Nomination of Proxy and Minutes of Meeting.....of course all meetings are different but at least it is a basis for the simplest AGM's...........
